PROJECT:

VAiF is the Visual Arts International Festival that is taking place in Thessaloniki this November, promoting visual and graphic arts. Our poster for the festival’s open call with the theme “Designing for Change: Earth”, was based on the statistics of countries, based on their National Emission Reduction Goals, with the intention of meeting the Paris Agreement Goal. The design mixes the stagnant nature of typography referring to metrics and the gradient, fluid levels of colour, transcending between warm and cool tones, highlighting the contrast between the two. Measures and objects of measuring. The intention is to elevate the fluid value of culture in progress, rather than just metrics, to make impactful change.
