Kaftani is a female-founded resortwear brand, founded by designers Nancy and Katerina. Their mission is all about timeless design that works forever, high-quality fabrics that never give up and unquestionable comfort that does not compromise with the visual outcome. With every collection, the name and textual concept is to be decided, carving the way for a core idea that develops into the storytelling. Looking back to SS22 and SS23, the two collections had an idea as the common ground, to rediscover yourself through adventure and bravery. For SS22, "A Timeless Odyssey", the infamous poem of KP Cavafy, "Ithaka", was quoted as the timeless ode to self-discovery alongside a textual narrative that highlights the brand's homage to Greek legacy, Greek artists and original thought. In the same manner, SS23, "Heroic Reinvention", is all about accepting a hero's authentic footprint, which makes it stand the test of time. That year, a narrative was featured, while all dresses where named after the principles and stages of calling one a "hero".
